WITCiH MASTERCLASS
WITCiH is hosting its inaugural Masterclass this month - a unique creative singing workshop presented by WITCiH founder, Bishi Bhattacharya. The Masterclass will allow attendees to experiment with looping, grow in confidence with their voice and performance, improvise through group and creative exercises, and experiment with the new interactive MINI.MU gloves.
These were designed by creative technologist and author Helen Leigh, Grammy Award-winning Imogen Heap, Pimoroni, and the mi.mu glove team, and are a make-it-yourself version of the mi.mu gloves that Imogen pioneered.
The masterclass, ‘I Sing Electric’, will be held at The Rattle in London’s Tobacco Dock, on Saturday 16th February. The Rattle is a collective of artists and music tech startups.
Masterclass places are limited, and we are delighted to announce that WITCiH is offering the Kitmonsters community some bursaries, to support those applicants who would like to attend but for whom price is a prohibiting factor.
The WITCiH (Women In Technology Creative Industries Hub) mission is to educate and inspire women the world over through an understanding of Women in Tech and their history. WITCiH also aim to develop and commission cross disciplinary creative projects with a focus on experimenting and pushing the boundaries of technology.
Please fill out the application form here, to apply for the bursary.
