Carlsbro began making amps in 1959 and the British company created its first all-tube amp in the early 60’s. During the 70’s the TOP 50 Stack soon became ‘the workhorse’ for the British gigging musician, and popular amps included the Stingray and the Scorpion models, many of which are still going strong. Users included The Beatles, Mick Jagger and Oasis. The firm has been relaunched and new amps include the ‘Tube Series’ and ingenious Club PA systems with wheels and telescopic handles.
