Casiotone was a range of synths designed for easy home use use in the 1980s. The 101 is a basic analog synth with 49 keys and 25 presets, and its effects include sustain and vibrato. Its tones are pretty unrealistic - but that’s just what many people like - and the organ is one of the better sounds. It also has a ‘frog’ sound like others in the range. Artists who have used it include Blondie, The Human League and Vince Clarke.
