The Deep Bass Nine was commissioned by FX Music Control as an alternative to the Roland TB-303. With its straightforward controls and low cost, it is a useful true analog bass synth. Unlike the TB-303 it has no onboard sequencer, so MIDI control is an essential, however as part of a MIDI rig it can create a variety of full and warm tones.
