Godin

Godin is a Canadian company that makes electric and acoustic guitars and was founded by designer Robert Godin. They design new guitars such as a synth access range, and even new instruments such as the Glissentar - an eleven string, fretless, acoustic/electric that mixes a Western and Eastern sound. Brands under the Godin umbrella incude electric Richmond Guitars, as well as acoustic lines such as Seagull, Simon & Patrick, Norman, LaPatrie and Art & Lutherie. They originally supplied parts for other companies’ electric guitars and make and assemble in Canada and the US. Godin players include Billy Corgan of The Smashing Pumpkins, Adam B. of Kanye West, The Gypsy Kings, Amy Sky, Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath, Kat Dyson and Rob Holliday of Sulpher.
