The Custom Ultimate Ears 7 Pro is designed to be a robust and powerful In-Ear Monitor ideal for live performances. Its makers say it offers the most headroom of any professional earpiece on the market and is based on a 2-way crossover design with a single high driver and dual low drivers, for growl, punch and clarity. 

The three speakers per monitor mean the low-end frequencies are directed to a dedicated speaker for bass, the mid-range frequencies to a speaker for the vocals and the high frequencies to a speaker dedicated for treble. There’s an optional ambient feature to allow for stage bleed while controlling the isolation effect. The monitors can be ordered in a variety of colors and personalized with individual artwork. A wide range of artists use the monitors including Daft Punk, Charlotte Church, Arctic Monkeys, Courtney Love, Anthrax, Blondie and 50 Cent.
