Nord Keyboards is a subdivision of Clavia Digital Musical Instruments, which was founded in Sweden nearly thirty years ago by Hans Nordelius and Mikael Carlsson. Originally making digital drum pads, Nord was created in the mid nineties as a range of virtual analog synthesizers. Today Nord has a variety of synth keyboards available, as well as full electric pianos with weighted keys. Their products are well regarded and are used by many professional musicians.
