Founded in Japan by Tadayouki Adachi in 1947, Tokai manufacter high quality instruments with a total commitment to craftsmanship. By the early 80s the western guitar market was having to take note, as it had never seen such well made Japanese exports before. Now an established name, Tokai make a range of guitars in familiar styles from entry level affordable models up to high end custom instruments.
