The AmpKit series is a vast bank of amps and effects for guitarists and bassists, and is modelled on real-world equipment. You can run effects simultaneously and recreate your favourite gear set-up on the iPad, iTouch and iPhone - the new AmpKit Mac runs on a Mac too. You connect to it using an interface such as LiNK, a high fidelity electric guitar interface developed with Peavey Electronics.

Using a guitar interface with AmpKit Mac, you can get a powerful amp, effects and recording studio - up to 22 faithfully-reproduced amps with 38 separate amp channels, 28 pedals, 28 cabinets and 8 mics, with 64-bit performance. You can buy extra amp, pedal, cabinet and mic sounds in-app on the different versions. There’s also AmpKit – a stripped down app - available for free.

The amps include models by Ashdown and Peavey.
