From the company’s beginnings at the end of the 80s, when music student Uli Behringer started building audio equipment for his fellow students, to its present day multinational status as a producer of everything from effects pedals to lighting rigs by way of MIDI gear, amps, mixers, mics, guitars and lots more, Behringer supplies high performance gear at affordable prices. The Behringer logo was apparently inspired by Uli’s piano teacher nicknaming him ‘The Ear’ due to his perfect pitch.
