Visual Sound was founded by Bob Weil who started a one-man crusade to find his perfect pedals, and began making them. The Jekyll & Hyde pedal became a hit and the company now has a wide range of effects, including the Chainsaw Distortion. The company is still a family firm, based in Tennessee, and employing Bob’s mother as well as other family members. Artists using Visual Sound pedals include Arctic Monkeys, Kings of Leon, Aerosmith, Fleetwood Mac, Pete Townsend of The Who, OK Go, U2, Felicia Collins, and The Strokes.
Two pedals in one: A mild mannered overdrive, and a psycho distortion.
