The Gibson Hummingbird was introduced in 1960 as Gibson’s first square-shouldered dreadnought, and was used by artists such as Keith Richards and Gram Parsons, working in a variety of genres including rock, folk, and country. It is a versatile acoustic guitar with rich, deep tones, and good for chord as well as flatpicking leadlines.
The new Hummingbirds are made in the image of the original, in Gibson’s acclaimed acoustic facility in Bozeman, MT. They have mahogany bodies and Sitka spruce tops.
