The SG is one of Gibson’s most famous guitars after the Les Paul. As seen in the hands of Angus Young or Tony Iommi, its rock horns mark it out as an iconic instrument. The neck is thin and fast, and the double cutaway allows easy access to even the highest frets, whilst the thru-body design means that the body is unbelievably thin. The P-90 soapbar pickups give a clear crisp sound with plenty of bite and midrange that are powerful enough to kick, but bright enough to cut through a mix. There is also a Gibson SG Standard with P-90 pickups.
