Orange have launched the DIVO VT 1000 valve tester - an easy-to-use device that will help anyone from enthusiasts to guitar techs and other music pros, check and match valves. You just screw in the valve to one of three sockets (one octal and two nine pin), select the valve type and press start. It works for power and pre-amp valves and the results show up in an LED display after the testing, which covers a wide range of faults.
