The Voyetra Eight was revolutionary as it featured multiple synth modules that could be controlled by a master keyboard. It was the forerunner of MIDI. It was one of the first programmable analog synths to be rack mountable, and features 100 patches. It’s still considered one of the most flexible digitally controlled analog synths and was used by New Order.
